Did you know that research has found that the most common length of psychotherapy in Australia is a single session? Single Session Thinking (SST) is a therapeutic approach which has evolved on the premise that the first psychotherapy session is potentially the most therapeutic and has the greatest influence on outcomes. It also operates on the assumption that the first session may be the only session that the client attends.
In this workshop, you will gain an overview of effective strategies that you can utilise when supporting clients in brief therapy.

About the presenter
Maria Gullaci is an experienced trainer with Relationships Australia Victoria, bringing 16 years of expertise in the Integrated Family Services and Family Violence Sector. Her extensive career includes roles such as case manager, senior practitioner, group facilitator, family violence consultant, clinical supervisor, and Team Leader of Family Violence Services. Maria is dedicated to building practitioners' capacity and confidence, with a strong commitment to empowering professionals to implement best practices and enhance client outcomes.
