In addition, strategies for assisting others to manage challenging situations will be unpacked, whilst also emphasising the need for self-care when supporting others.

  • understanding how to identify when a client or colleague is experiencing mental health impacts due to loneliness/isolation
  • strategies for engaging with a client or colleague who is experiencing the mental health impacts of loneliness/isolation
  • the importance of self-care when supporting others.

Lilia Szarski is a clinical supervisor and experienced trainer at Relationships Australia Victoria and a qualified, registered psychologist.
